Lego® Piece 32557 Meme & Meaning Explained

🗓 Mon, 14 Nov 2022

The year 2021 has brought us not only COVID but also a wealth of hilarious internet memes. You probably remember Lego® piece 26047, right? The one that went viral because of its resemblance to an Among Us character but there is another Lego piece that has gone viral due to its unusual shape: Lego piece 32557.

What Is the Lego® Piece 32557 meme?

Lego Piece 32557 is a Lego® Technic pin connector that was first released in 2001. Normally, a Lego Technic pin has a cylindrical shape. But this piece in particular has been the subject of much online discussion over the past year because of its suggestive shape- a penis.

The pin has been around for quite some time before it got a lot of attention on Reddit. Since then, it has spread like wildfire to the other parts of the internet.

Many people had a good laugh, but some found it unfunny, suggesting that it should be thrown out of circulation.

Where did the Lego® Piece 32557 meme come from?

The Lego® Piece 32557 meme went viral in October last year, but it first appeared on Reddit six months earlier. A subreddit user by the name of u/beennr first noted its striking resemblance under the subreddit R/mildlypenis.

The joke became even more popular when people started using it in different meme format. Here are some of the most popular ones.

Here's our family guy, Peter Griffin, telling us not look it up...

But we all know, we are all like Shaq. The more we're told not to look it up, the more we are prompted to do just that.

Now, just like Drake, we need to accept that Lego piece 32557 will be known as the new "Big PP". After all, there's just no way that you'll be able to see it like before again.

Before the viral moment of Lego Piece 32557, the spotlight was on Lego Piece 26407. The striking resemblance of this piece to a character in "Among Us" was widely noted by fans of the game, and it has been shared around the internet ever since.

Lego® Brick

Finally, the true test of strength, and the formidable foe of every foot, the classic old Lego brick. A meme that brings back painful memories to many who has been a victim of this seemingly harmless plastic brick. The agonizing experience has given birth to the utterly vindictive phrase, "I hope you step on a Lego". Something you wish nobody would ever say to you.

Why is the Lego® piece 32557 meme funny?

Well, apparently people have always found penis jokes funny like the Lego® piece 32557. There was never really a study for that (or maybe there is one), but it dates back to time immemorial, even during ancient times, when the Romans used it as humorous "art."

Some people may have found themselves with a lot of extra time on their hands during the pandemic, leading them to seek out Lego memes and trends as a way to pass the time.

Although it wasn't very exciting, being stuck at home all day had some advantages, such as being able to spend it with loved ones OR building new Lego sets and catching up on your Lego collections.
