Lego's large flower bouquets come as loose stems, and the Wildflower Bouquet and the Bouquet of Roses come without a vase. Most Lego bouquets need a vase about 16 to 20 cm high with an opening that gathers 15 or 16 stems, and our pick is the Lenkyin wooden vase kit, which holds the stems upright in holes in its top. For reference, Lego's own vase is 16 cm tall.
Lego never publishes the overall size of a bouquet. It names one reference stem per set, such as the larkspur in the Wildflower Bouquet at over 47 cm, so every size here starts from that stem. A table turns those stems into vase heights for seven bouquets, followed by a glass cylinder, a Lego-branded vase, a 21-hole holder for fuller arrangements and sand for vases that turn out too deep.
Our pick: a wooden vase kit with a hole for every stem
Lenkyin wooden vase kit for Lego flowers: stems held upright in a holed top
- Height: 19.8 cm
- Material: wood, supplied flat and snapped together like a puzzle
- Top: round holes that keep each flower upright; the number and size of the holes are not stated
- Made for: Lego flower bouquets, according to the listing
- Water: not needed for brick flowers, and the kit is not made to hold any

In an ordinary vase, loose stems slide towards the edge of the opening and the bouquet spreads out. Here the stems go through holes in the top, so the arrangement stays the way you set it. At 19.8 cm it stands a little taller than Lego's 16 cm vase, and the wood hides the brick stems below the rim.
On paper the long bouquets suit it best. If the larkspur of the Wildflower Bouquet reaches the bottom, about 27 cm of it rises above the top (calculated from the outer height, as Lenkyin gives no inside depth). The tallest roses of the two rose bouquets, at over 31 and 32 cm, show about 11 to 12 cm above the top. That is a few centimetres less than in a 16 cm vase, so the roses sit lower.
The gap in the listing is the hole count. Lenkyin does not say how many holes the top has or how wide they are, so the listing gives no way to check whether all 16 stems of a bouquet fit, or a second bouquet as well. Pick it for one full bouquet that should keep its shape. For a fuller arrangement, the JAYOBGO vase further down states its hole count.
How big should the vase be?
| Lego bouquet | Pieces | Stems | Reference stem Lego states | Vase height by rule of thumb | Vase to look for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wildflower Bouquet 10313 | 939 | 16 | Larkspur, over 47 cm | About 16 to 24 cm | 20 cm with holes or a heavy base |
| Flower Bouquet 10280 | 756 | 15 | Snapdragon, over 36 cm | About 12 to 18 cm | 16 to 20 cm, narrow opening |
| Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet 10342 | 749 | 15 | Cymbidium orchids, over 32 cm | About 11 to 16 cm | 16 cm, narrow opening |
| Tulip Bouquet 11501 | 576 | Not stated | Tallest tulip, over 36 cm | About 12 to 18 cm | 16 to 20 cm |
| Bouquet of Roses 10328 | 822 | 16 | Tallest rose, over 31 cm | About 10 to 16 cm | 16 to 17 cm, narrow opening |
| Bouquet of Pink Roses 10374 | 789 | 16 | Tallest rose, over 32 cm | About 11 to 16 cm | 16 to 17 cm, narrow opening |
| Daisies 11508 | 133 | 8 | Larger daisy, over 20 cm | About 7 to 10 cm | A short vase about 10 to 14 cm |
Lego states one reference stem per set, never the size of the finished bouquet. The rule-of-thumb column applies the guide below to that stem (calculated). Adjustable stems, as in the Wildflower, Flower, Pretty Pink and Tulip bouquets, change the final height, so treat each row as a starting point.
Sizing a vase for brick stems
Height comes first. A useful rule of thumb is a vase between a third and half as tall as the tallest stem. For the big bouquets that lands close to Lego's own 16 cm vase. On paper 16 to 20 cm works, with the taller end for the Wildflower Bouquet and the shorter end for roses. A stem standing on the vase floor shows its length minus the vase depth: the 31 cm rose rises about 15 cm above a 16 cm vase, the 47 cm larkspur about 31 cm (calculated). Measure the shelf as well. With the stems on the bottom, the Wildflower Bouquet stands at least 47 cm tall in any vase.
The opening decides how the bouquet looks. A narrow opening gathers the stems into a tight bunch, while a wide one lets them fall outwards. A top with holes goes further and fixes every stem in place, which helps if you like a precise arrangement.
Weight keeps the whole thing upright. A tall bouquet puts its weight high up, so a light vase tips more easily than a heavy one with a broad base. Glass usually weighs more than plastic of the same size, and a layer of sand adds weight where it helps most. No maker of the vases here publishes a tip test, so these are general rules, not measurements.
A glass vase for a classic look
Clear glass shows the brick stems from top to bottom, and it takes water if you ever mix real flowers into the display.
CYS EXCEL glass cylinder vase (20 cm): a slim glass tube for one bouquet
- Size: about 20.3 cm high and 7.6 cm across (8 × 3 in.)
- Material: clear glass
- Opening: 7.6 cm outer width; the inside diameter is not stated
- Included: one vase

A narrow cylinder like this keeps a bouquet of 15 or 16 stems together instead of letting it fan out. At 20.3 cm it is about as tall as the Lenkyin kit, so the larkspur again stands about 27 cm above the rim and the tallest roses about 11 to 12 cm (calculated).
Choose it if you prefer the look of a real vase to a holder. Its limits are on paper: the maker gives neither the weight nor the inside diameter, and the glass walls make the usable opening a little smaller than 7.6 cm. For the tall Wildflower Bouquet, a layer of sand in the bottom adds weight under the bouquet.
Lego's own vases and a Lego-branded alternative
Lego makes two 16 cm vases of its own, Vase - Bricks 5010392 and Vase - Wildflowers 5010393, which it describes as designed to fit Lego flower bouquets. Lego does not state the opening. If you would rather build one, Lego also publishes free instructions for a brick-built vase on its website. A real glass or ceramic vase from your own cupboard is just as valid an option, as long as height and opening match the table above.
Lego Botanical Vase by Room Copenhagen: the Lego look in clear polycarbonate
- Size: about 8 × 8 × 17 cm (3.15 × 3.15 × 6.7 in.)
- Material: translucent polycarbonate with a printed minifigure pattern all over
- Weight: about 154 g
- Use: made for Lego flowers and for fresh flowers, according to the listing
- Included: vase only

This officially licensed vase comes from Room Copenhagen. It is not the same product as Lego's two 16 cm vases: it is 17 cm tall and carries a minifigure print instead of the bricks or wildflower designs. For a matching gift with one of the rose bouquets it fits well on paper, with the tallest rose about 14 to 15 cm above the rim.
The trade-off is weight. At about 154 g it is light for a 16-stem bouquet whose longest stem reaches over 47 cm, so for the Wildflower Bouquet some sand in the bottom adds stability. Room Copenhagen gives no separate inside size.
One bouquet or two in the same vase
Lego says the Wildflower Bouquet combines with the Flower Bouquet 10280, as one large arrangement or two separate ones. Together that is 31 stems, about twice as many as a single bouquet, so the opening has to be noticeably wider than for a single bouquet.
JAYOBGO acrylic vase with 21 holes: room for a bouquet and a half
- Size: about 17.8 × 17.8 × 19.8 cm (7 × 7 × 7.8 in.)
- Top: a plate with 21 cut holes, one stem per hole
- Material: thick acrylic that the maker calls shatter-resistant
- Assembly: snap-fit kit, no tools needed
- Made for: the Flower Bouquet, roses and orchids, according to the listing

Twenty-one holes take one 16-stem bouquet with five places to spare, or the 15-stem Flower Bouquet plus six stems from another set (calculated). That suits a fuller arrangement or a mix of two bouquets. It does not take both complete: the Wildflower and Flower bouquets together have 31 stems, ten more than the plate has holes.
The footprint is the other point to check. At 17.8 cm square it is more than twice as wide as the glass cylinder, so it needs a deeper shelf or a table. The maker calls the base rock-solid, but gives no weight or hole diameter.
Vases for the Wildflower Bouquet and the rose bouquets
Wildflower Bouquet 10313
- Pieces: 939
- Age: 18 and up
- 16 stems, larkspur over 47 cm, no vase included
With the longest reference stem in the table, this is the set that most needs a tall, steady vase. A 20 cm holder or a glass cylinder with sand in the base suits it on paper. The stems are adjustable, so you can lower the other stems if the bouquet looks top-heavy. Plan at least 47 cm of clearance above the shelf.
Bouquet of Roses 10328
- Pieces: 822
- Age: 18 and up
- 12 roses and 4 sprigs, tallest over 31 cm
Twelve roses and four sprigs of baby's breath make 16 stems, and the tallest rose is over 31 cm long. Lego does not include a vase. A 16 to 17 cm vase with a narrow opening shows the most stem, while the 19.8 cm Lenkyin kit keeps the roses lower and more upright.
Bouquet of Pink Roses 10374
- Pieces: 789
- Age: 18 and up
- 12 roses and 4 sprigs, tallest over 32 cm
The pink version has the same mix of 12 roses and four sprigs, with the tallest rose at over 32 cm. Lego does not mention a vase. Any vase that suits the Bouquet of Roses suits this one, and with two rose bouquets you have 32 stems, more than even the 21-hole JAYOBGO vase takes.
Vase too deep? Raise the stems with sand
A vase that is deeper than planned swallows the shorter stems. Adjustable stems help, and a layer of decorative sand in the bottom lifts the whole bouquet and adds weight at the base.
Royal Imports decorative vase sand (2 kg): filler and ballast in one
- Contents: 4.5 lb (about 2 kg) of natural fine-grain sand
- Packaging: reusable plastic bottle with a screw lid, about 12 × 12 × 16 cm
- Water: the maker says the sand does not clump in water

The screw-lid bottle keeps whatever you do not use. Fine grains can work their way into the gaps of brick-built stems, so put the sand in a small bag or a cup insert before the stems go in. That way the stems stay clean and you can lift them out again easily.
Placement, sunlight and dust
Keep brick flowers out of direct sunlight, which can fade and yellow plastic over time. A windowsill looks natural but is the riskiest spot. Brick flowers need no water, only dusting: a soft brush is enough. For a deeper clean, our step-by-step guide to cleaning Lego covers washing individual parts.
Put a top-heavy bouquet where nobody brushes past it, and check the clearance under any shelf above, especially for the Wildflower Bouquet.
Lego flower vase FAQ
Does Lego include a vase with its flower bouquets?
Not for these bouquets. Lego states that the Wildflower Bouquet, Flower Bouquet, Bouquet of Roses and Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet come without a vase, and for the Bouquet of Pink Roses it does not mention one. Lego sells its 16 cm vases separately.
How tall should a vase for Lego flowers be?
For the large bouquets, about 16 to 20 cm. Lego designed its own vase at 16 cm, and a third to half of the tallest stem gives about 10 to 24 cm across the big sets. Small posies such as Daisies need a vase of about 10 to 14 cm.
How do I stop Lego flowers from falling over?
Use a vase with a narrow opening or holes for each stem, and give it weight. A layer of sand in a bag at the bottom lowers the centre of gravity, and lowering the tallest adjustable stems helps too.
Which vase for Lego flowers should you buy?
Start with your bouquet, then decide how much stem you want to see:
- One full bouquet that keeps its shape: Lenkyin wooden vase kit.
- A classic look with the stems on show: CYS EXCEL glass cylinder vase.
- A Lego-branded vase for the roses or as a gift: Lego Botanical Vase by Room Copenhagen.
- A bouquet and a half, or a mix of two: JAYOBGO acrylic vase with 21 holes.
- A vase that is too deep or too light: Royal Imports decorative vase sand.
