Lego® Creator Expert was the label used for many large display models before Lego Icons became the home of much of the same adult range. This ranking treats Creator Expert and Icons as one continuous category. That preserves the history of the older name while allowing later category 12 releases to be compared with it.
Eiffel Tower 10307 leads with 10,001 pieces. Titanic and Colosseum follow, the 2026 Minas Tirith is fourth, and Rivendell 10316 enters at number five. The subjects vary widely, but every position uses the same measure.
How this ranking works. “Biggest” means the official piece count of one retail set. Dimensions, weight, price and aftermarket value do not affect the order. Distinct set numbers count as separate releases; bundles and packaging variants do not.

1. Lego® Creator Expert / Icons 10307 Eiffel Tower
Eiffel Tower 10307 was released under the Icons name in 2022. Its 10,001 pieces make it the only set in the category to pass five figures. The model follows the tower’s four-legged iron framework from the landscaped base to the upper platform and spire.
The structure is assembled in four sections, a practical division for a model dominated by repeated latticework and cross-bracing. Those small structural elements help explain the high inventory, but first place depends on the published total rather than the finished model’s exceptional height.
At ground level, trees, benches and streetlamps surround the four supports. Observation platforms, arches, railings and the broadcast tower then mark the ascent, so the repeated framework is interrupted by recognizable changes in the real landmark’s structure.

2. Lego® Creator Expert / Icons 10294 Titanic
Titanic 10294 contains 9,090 pieces and dates from 2021. The long model separates into three sections to reveal cross-sections of the decks and interior.
Turning the propellers moves the piston engines inside. The bridge, promenade deck, swimming pool and grand staircase are also represented at this scale. These mechanical and interior details distinguish the set from a simple solid-hull ship model without changing how its rank is calculated.
Built at 1:200 scale, the completed ship is about 135 cm long. Its three-part construction is therefore more than an interior feature: it provides practical access to the mechanisms and makes a model of that length possible to separate without treating the hull as one permanent unit.

- Number of pieces: 9,090
3. Lego® Creator Expert / Icons 10276 Colosseum
The 2020 Colosseum 10276 has 9,036 pieces. Its oval footprint contains repeated arches around the outer wall, interior seating and the exposed structure beneath the arena floor. One side of the outer wall is lower, reflecting the present-day profile of the Roman landmark.
The model was released under Creator Expert and is one of the sets that links that label directly to the later Icons range.
The finished footprint is approximately 52 cm wide and 59 cm deep. Different column styles distinguish the storeys, while the surrounding paving, stone blocks and small trees set the amphitheatre into a compact landscape rather than ending the build at the outer wall.

- Number of pieces: 9,036
4. Lego® Creator Expert / Icons 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith
The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith 11377 is the newest set in this ranking. Its published 8,278-piece inventory places the 2026 release fourth.
This entry is included because it is a category 12 Icons release, even though licensed Middle-earth models were never part of the old Creator Expert branding. The same continuity also brings Rivendell and Barad-dûr into this ranking instead of presenting the historical label as if it were still unchanged.
Because Minas Tirith is a future-dated release, this entry stays with the documented set number, year and inventory rather than assigning unverified dimensions or functions.

- Number of pieces: 8,278
5. Lego® Creator Expert / Icons 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell
The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell 10316 was released as a Lego Icons set in 2023. Its 6,167 pieces place it fifth.
Lego’s official product page lists 15 minifigures and describes authentic details for recreating scenes from the films. Those details give the model its Middle-earth identity, while its position here is determined solely by the official piece count.
Among the details Lego specifically highlights are the Shards of Narsil and the Council of Elrond. The minifigure selection represents the Fellowship and other Rivendell characters, connecting the architecture to the scenes presented on the official page.

6. Lego® Creator Expert / Icons 10256 Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal 10256 returned the landmark to retail in 2017 with 5,923 pieces. Its central dome, four minarets, smaller domed chambers and raised base closely follow the composition of the earlier large model. The modular sections can be separated for moving the finished build.
Taj Mahal 10256 and Taj Mahal 10189 are separate retail releases with different set numbers and release years, not regional boxes or packaging variants of a single product. That independent product identity is why both qualify.
The finished model is about 43 cm high and 51 cm across. Arched windows, recessed façades, balconies and decorative finials break up the white walls, while the four equal sides of the base reinforce the monument’s symmetry from every viewing angle.

- Number of pieces: 5,923
7. Lego® Creator Expert / Icons 10189 Taj Mahal (original)
The original retail release, Taj Mahal 10189, dates from 2008 and contains 5,922 pieces. It uses the same large-scale architectural subject and the same recognizable arrangement of dome, minarets and base, but its own product number and inventory establish a separate catalogue identity.
Calling 10189 the “original” describes the chronology: the 2008 set came first, while the 2017 edition is another retail release with its own number and inventory rather than replacement packaging.
At roughly 51 cm square and 43 cm high, the earlier model also occupies a substantial, symmetrical footprint. Repeated arches and ornamental elements carry detail around all four façades, so its inventory is not concentrated only in the large central dome and corner minarets.

- Number of pieces: 5,922
8. Lego® Creator Expert / Icons 10299 Real Madrid – Santiago Bernabéu Stadium
Real Madrid – Santiago Bernabéu Stadium 10299 was released in 2022 with 5,876 pieces. The model reconstructs the pitch, stands, four corner towers and the stadium’s exterior as it appeared before the current redevelopment.
Details around the field include goals, dugouts and scoreboards, while the outer build includes the club shop and team bus. Together, those details identify both the playing field and the exterior as a specific match venue.
Measuring about 44 cm wide and 38 cm deep, the stadium is compact enough to show the whole enclosed ground in one model. Printed and stickered signs identify the club and venue, while removable sections preserve views into the stands and pitch from several sides.

- Number of pieces: 5,876
9. Lego® Creator Expert / Icons 10284 Camp Nou – FC Barcelona
Camp Nou – FC Barcelona 10284 contains 5,509 pieces and was released in 2021. The stadium model includes the full pitch, tiered stands and the open bowl shape of FC Barcelona’s ground. The build divides into sections, allowing the interior to be viewed more easily.
The players’ tunnel, press area and entrances around the facade give the model identifiable match-day details beyond the seating.
The finished ground measures about 49 cm wide and 46 cm deep. Scoreboards, press booths, the covered players’ entrance and exterior team details provide reference points around a bowl otherwise dominated by thousands of repeated seats and structural supports.

- Number of pieces: 5,509
10. Lego® Creator Expert / Icons 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr
The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr 10333 was released in 2024 with 5,471 pieces. The black fortress rises in stacked sections to the Eye of Sauron, which uses a light brick. Interior rooms are built into the rear rather than hidden inside a completely closed tower.
Barad-dûr is the third Middle-earth location in the top ten after Minas Tirith and Rivendell. Its 5,471-piece inventory sets the cutoff for this top ten.
At more than 83 cm high, the fortress is the tallest conventional building in this top ten after the Eiffel Tower. The open rear includes a throne room, dungeon, armoury and forge, giving each tier a distinct interior purpose beneath the illuminated eye.

Creator Expert and Icons across generations
Eiffel Tower 10307 is the biggest Creator Expert or Icons set by piece count, followed by Titanic 10294 and Colosseum 10276. The combined ranking is intentional: Creator Expert and Icons are treated as successive labels within one continuous category, not as unrelated themes.
Rivendell 10316 gives the top ten three Middle-earth Icons locations, while Barad-dûr 10333 now sets the cutoff at 5,471 pieces. Taj Mahal 10256 and Taj Mahal 10189 remain separate retail releases: their distinct numbers and years determine their identity.
