1. Who we are

Brickfact is operated by LSMF Tech Ventures Limited, Exo Vrisis 64, 8047 Paphos, Cyprus, VAT ID CY10426033K (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at [email protected].

2. What Brickfact offers

Brickfact is an information service for LEGO® fans and collectors. It includes:

• a database of LEGO sets and minifigures with prices and price histories from retailers
• current deals, which you can rate in the app
• estimated market values, the value checker and articles about LEGO
• the collection tracker, where you record purchases, gifts and sales and follow the estimated value of your collection
• a watchlist, price alerts and push notifications about deals

Some features are only available in the app or require an account. Brickfact is free to use. We finance it through affiliate commissions and advertising (see section 6).

3. Your account

You can use most of Brickfact without signing in. When you first open the app, it creates an anonymous account so that it can store your settings and data. To keep your collection when you change devices and to use it on the website, you can sign in with Google, with Apple or with a sign-in link sent to your email address.

• Keep access to the email address, Google account or Apple ID you sign in with secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Your account is personal. You may not share it with others or transfer it.
• If you are under 16, you need the consent of a parent or guardian to create an account.
• If you think someone else is using your account, let us know at [email protected].

4. Content you add

You can add your own content to Brickfact, for example the transactions and notes in your collection, your nickname and your profile picture.

• Your content remains yours. You allow us to store, process and display it as far as this is necessary to provide Brickfact, for example to sync your collection between the app and the website.
• Your collection is private. We do not show it to other users.
• You are responsible for making sure that your content is lawful and does not infringe anyone else's rights. Nicknames and profile pictures must not be offensive or misleading.
• We may remove content that breaks these terms.

5. Prices, values and deals

We collect prices and deals from retailers and update them regularly. We cannot guarantee that this information is always correct, complete or up to date, and prices and availability can change at any time. The price that applies is the one the retailer shows you when you order.

Market values, value estimates and the performance of your collection are estimates based on the data available to us. They are not an appraisal, not an offer to buy or sell and not financial or investment advice. Past price developments do not guarantee future ones. Whether you buy, keep or sell a set is your own decision.

6. Affiliate links, retailers and advertising

Many links on Brickfact lead to retailers and marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay or LEGO. Some of them are affiliate links: if you buy something after clicking one, we may receive a commission from the retailer. The price you pay stays the same.

When you buy something, your contract is with the retailer, not with us. We do not sell any products ourselves and are not responsible for the retailer's products, prices, delivery, returns or customer service. The retailer's own terms apply.

The website also shows advertising. Our privacy policy explains how our advertising and affiliate partners use cookies.

7. Notifications

The app can send you push notifications, for example about new deals or when a set reaches the target price of one of your price alerts. You can switch notifications off in the app or in your device settings at any time. Deals can end quickly. We cannot guarantee that every notification arrives on time or that a deal is still available when you open it.

8. Rules for using Brickfact

When you use Brickfact, you must not:

• copy or extract content or data from Brickfact by automated means, for example with bots, scrapers or scripts, unless we have agreed to it in writing. Search engines that follow our robots.txt are exempt.
• access our servers or interfaces other than through the website and the official apps, or decompile, reverse engineer or modify the apps, except where the law expressly allows it.
• bypass or disable security measures, for example the integrity checks in our apps.
• overload, disrupt or damage Brickfact or the systems it runs on.
• manipulate deal ratings, for example with several accounts or automated votes.
• use Brickfact for unlawful purposes or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
• use content or data from Brickfact commercially, for example by publishing or selling our price data, without our written permission.

If you break these rules, we may restrict or block your access.

9. Our content and trademarks

The texts, design, software and databases of Brickfact, including our price data and set information, are protected by copyright and database rights. They belong to us or to our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use requires our written permission.

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse Brickfact. Other product names, images and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep Brickfact available and free of errors, but we cannot guarantee that it will always work without interruptions or errors. We may change, extend, restrict or discontinue features, for example because of technical developments or because a data source is no longer available. If we discontinue a feature that stores your data, we will let you know in good time where possible.

11. Ending your use and deleting your account

You can stop using Brickfact at any time. You can delete your account in the app under Profile > Delete account, or ask us to delete it by writing to [email protected]. Our privacy policy explains what happens to your data.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we are required to do so by law. Where appropriate, we will warn you first and tell you the reason.

12. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever the law does not allow liability to be limited, for example under product liability law.

In all other cases, since Brickfact is provided free of charge, we are only liable for slight negligence if we breach an essential obligation, meaning an obligation that makes the proper use of Brickfact possible in the first place and on which you may rely. Our liability is then limited to the typical damage that was foreseeable.

Within these limits, we are in particular not liable for decisions you make on the basis of prices, values or deals shown on Brickfact, for the products and services of retailers, or for the content of external websites that we link to.

13. App stores

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the terms of that store also apply. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the app, its content, its maintenance or its support.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. The current version is always available on this page, together with the date of the last update. If we make significant changes, we will inform registered users in advance in the app or by email. If you do not agree with the changes, you can stop using Brickfact and delete your account.

15. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.

We are not willing or obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

If any provision of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
