Holiday House 11387: the Winter Village house for 2026
- Pieces: 1,354
- Age: 18 and up
- Light-up tree and horse-drawn sleigh
The Holiday House takes its theme from "Jingle Bells". It is a two-storey Victorian-style home with snowy pitched roofs, a wrap-around porch, bay windows and a façade hung with a garland, golden bells and holly. Inside are a fireplace, a phonograph, a rotary phone and a mantel clock, along with stockings, presents and a pumpkin pie. A light brick makes the Christmas tree glow through the windows on both floors. Outside stand a snowman and a horse-drawn sleigh; push the sleigh and the horse moves. Four minifigures are included.
The model measures about 21 cm high, 28 cm wide and 14 cm deep (8 × 11 × 5.5 in). The box contains two instruction booklets, so a younger helper can build the sleigh while an adult builds the house. If you already own earlier Winter Village houses, our Winter Village overview lists all 18 sets by year.
Santa's Holiday Countdown 40874
- Pieces: 873
- Age: 10 and up
- Perpetual countdown on Santa's chimney
This set is a countdown you can use every year. Santa stands on a snowy roof beside his sack of presents, and knobs on the chimney turn the countdown blocks as the days pass. Because the calendar is perpetual, you simply set it up again next December. The finished model is about 20 cm high, 13 cm wide and 12 cm deep, small enough for a mantelpiece or the space under the tree.
Christmas figures: Mrs. Claus, Santa and Buddy the Elf
The Up-Scaled Mrs. Claus Minifigure 40875 turns a minifigure into a display figure about 25 cm tall. It has 904 pieces and a posable head, arms and hands. It pairs with last year's Up-Scaled Santa Minifigure 40820, a 761-piece Santa who can sit or stand and is still in Lego's range. Buddy the Elf 40865 is a 31 cm model of the character from the film Elf, with an Arctic puffin, candy canes and a bottle of maple syrup. Lego rates Buddy for ages 12 and up, Mrs. Claus for 10 and up.
Christmas Stocking 40958 and the small sets
- Pieces: 342
- Age: 12 and up
- Hook for the wall, kickstand for a shelf
The Christmas Stocking is a 24 cm brick-built stocking, filled with a Nutcracker minifigure, a gingerbread tree cookie and a candy cane. A hook lets you hang it on the wall, and a pop-out kickstand keeps it upright on a shelf.
For a stocking filler, Santa's Holiday Sleigh Adventure 40866 puts Santa and Mrs. Claus minifigures in a sleigh with two reindeer and a reindeer calf. Holiday Ornament Selection 2 40862 builds four ornaments with hangers: a Christmas tree with glow-in-the-dark details, Mrs. Claus, Cataclaws and a candy cane. Both are small, quick builds, so they work well as extras alongside a bigger present.
Which Lego Christmas tree should you buy?
None of the 2026 sets is a Christmas tree. If you want a Lego tree, you are choosing between a compact set from 2022 and a large family build from 2025.
- Pieces: 784
- Age: 12 and up
- One tall tree or two smaller trees
The Christmas Tree 40573 is the classic tabletop option. You build either one tree about 30 cm tall or two smaller trees of about 23 cm and 16 cm, then decorate them with ornaments, candles and a star and display them on a red tree skirt. Lego.com lists the set as retired, so you are buying remaining retailer stock. The widget shows which offers are still available.
- Pieces: 3,171
- Age: 9 and up
- Opens to four rooms inside the tree
The Family Christmas Tree 41843 is a different kind of project. Its panels open to four rooms (a kitchen, Santa's workshop, a canteen and a games room for the elves), and the base holds a train. Santa, Mrs. Claus, five elves, a sleigh and a reindeer figure are included. Closed, the tree measures about 46 cm high. At $329.99 or £269.99 it is a family build rather than a quick decoration, and it comes apart in sections for storage after Christmas.
For Lego decorations on a real tree, the hanging ornaments are the cheapest route: Holiday Ornament Selection 2 40862 from 2026 and Snowman Ornaments 40812 from 2025 (168 pieces, ages 6 and up) both come with hanging loops.

Lego Christmas FAQ
When do the new Lego Christmas sets come out?
Lego releases its Christmas range in early autumn. In 2026 the seasonal sets went on sale on 1 October. The Winter Village house followed for all buyers on 4 October, after three days of early access for Lego Insiders.
Is there a Lego nativity scene?
Lego's current Christmas range does not include a nativity set. If you want to combine Lego with an existing nativity scene, festive minifigures or a Winter Village building can work as a backdrop.
Can I buy a Lego Santa Claus?
Yes. The largest is the Up-Scaled Santa Minifigure 40820 from 2025, a 761-piece figure that can sit or stand. Santa also appears as a minifigure in Santa's Holiday Sleigh Adventure 40866 and the Festive Gingerbread House 40809, and Santa's Holiday Countdown 40874 builds him on a snowy roof.
Where do I find the best price for Lego Christmas sets?
The same set often costs different amounts at Lego.com and at other retailers. Compare the offers in the catalogue above or on each set page, where the price history shows how today's price compares with earlier months. The Brickfact app can notify you as soon as a new Lego deal is available. The Brickfact app is free of charge and available for iOS and Android.
