Editorial and testing policy
Personal review
Our articles receive personal review before publication. Moritz, a Brickfact co-founder, reviews the data in investment and research articles. Authorship and data review are different roles; a review credit does not replace sources or an explained method.
What a test means
We distinguish our own building and use, analysis of product data, and assessments from other sources. We do not claim to have tested a set we have not built or used ourselves. Testing one set does not establish experience with an entire product range.
Data and limitations
Studies explain their data, period, calculations and limitations. Estimated market values are not guaranteed sale proceeds. Past price increases do not promise future returns; fees, shipping and individual costs can change the result.
Recommendations, translations and corrections
Recommendations follow the criteria stated in the article. Affiliate commissions do not buy a positive verdict or a better place in the price comparison. Translations use the same factual basis. Send correction requests to our contact address with the article URL and supporting evidence.
